Online application
Official employerAn online form with personal details, education and qualifications, and a motivation statement. Forvis Mazars says there is no need for a CV or cover letter. Its FAQ says it accepts one application per academic year (September to August).
Online assessment
Official employerTakes about five minutes and needs no preparation, according to Forvis Mazars. It starts with warm-up questions and measures the strengths that drive high performance at the firm, adapting to your decision-making style. The FAQ says it is not timed, so extra time is not offered, and that responses are scored with deterministic, rule-based algorithms. You receive a feedback report with your top two strengths and one development area. The vendor and item format are not named on the pages read.
First stage video interview (live)
Official employerA live video interview with a member of the team, in a time slot you book. It covers your motivations, strengths and abilities and your interest in Forvis Mazars and the role. The FAQ says only two booking invitations are sent; if no slot is booked after the second, the application is withdrawn. Length is not published on the pages read.
Practise: Daily interview question
Virtual assessment centre
Official employerA half-day virtual assessment centre with exercises that reflect working at Forvis Mazars. The firm says no specific preparation or specialist knowledge is needed, and there is time to talk to other candidates and staff. The exercises are not named on the pages read.
Practise: Assessment centre practice

Final in-person interview
Official employerAn in-person interview with a senior leader from your chosen business area, made up of a presentation task and interview questions about your skills, experiences and aspirations. Travel expenses are reimbursed up to a reasonable amount.
Practise: Presentation exercise practice, Daily interview question
Final stage line-up
Half-day and virtual. Forvis Mazars says the exercises reflect what working at the firm is like and need no specialist knowledge, but it does not name them. A separate final in-person interview with a senior leader includes a presentation task.
Retakes and validity
Forvis Mazars accepts one application per academic year (September to August). If you applied for a role with a given start date you cannot apply for another role with the same start date, but you can apply for later intakes. Transferring an application to a new role does not mean repeating assessments. No test re-sit or result validity rule is stated on the pages read.
What we could not verify
- A careers site says the online assessment is a Neurosight assessment of 6 to 8 minutes; Forvis Mazars' own pages read do not name a vendor, so no vendor is listed
- The FAQ also mentions booking a telephone interview, while the selection page describes a live video interview; which applies to which role is not stated
- Video interview length, assessment centre exercise names and presentation task details are not published on the pages read
- The process for summer internships, industrial placements and work experience is not described on the pages read
- An Irish Forvis Mazars page describes a different test (General Intelligence Assessment); it covers Ireland, not the UK, and is not used
